The challenge

We exist to make sure the racing teams have the resource they need to win championships whilst delivering the most exciting and inspiring performance in racing. You will be pivotal by leading the operational hub of the Partnership Development Team. 


Your team

Your team is a high tempo sales team which has delivered huge success and a partnership portfolio admired across the industry. We continue to push the boundaries as we scale to take on new series in the ecosystem. You will report into the Director, Partnership Development and have one direct report, the Senior Coordinator, Partnership Development. You are the operational lynch pin in the department and therefore will have strong relationships across Marketing and the wider business.


Your day-to-day

  • Overseeing the strategy and tactical execution to drive a unique event engagement plan throughout the year to ensure maximum exposure to key decision makers
  • Managing a global Advisory Team of Industry leaders, keeping them connected and making them feel like part of the McLaren family whilst aligning them with our business priorities
  • Supporting the Director, PD with a range of operational tasks such as strategic planning, reporting, building contracts and KPI management
  • Work with the Senior Coordinator supporting to implement rigorous campaign, pipeline, and database management. Lead by example, develop and increase skillsets and engagement in varied roles

Job requirements

Your story

To join our race for performance, you’ll need:

  • 8 years commercial experience including new business, events, governance, finance, brand and communications. Must have an in-depth knowledge of management reporting procedures and routines.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Training in Leadership, Management and Project Management is required
  • In-depth IT knowledge – adept at Microsoft / office 365 / Salesforce
  • Adept and sound project management of multiple items on a daily, monthly and annual basis
  • Experience in commercial HR - interviewing / HR policies and contracts.
  • Experience in managing teams
  • The role requires demonstrable knowledge and successful track record in Industry and Commercial experience
