The challenge
Your primary role will be to secure meetings with decision makers of global brands who are based in EMEA for the Head of Partnership Development EMEA. This role will be expected to be a tenacious team member, playing an important role to ensure the region is maximizing all opportunities to deliver against ambitious revenue targets.

Your team

You’ll be joining the EMEA region of McLaren Racing’s Partnership Development Team, which is tasked with creating commercial partnerships that deliver new revenue across all of McLaren Racing including our Formula 1, IndyCar, Formula E, Extreme E, and eSports teams.

Your day-to-day

  • Identifying prospective targets and securing introductory calls and meetings is the primary focus of this position.
  • Play a critical role in tracking industry news and senior executive / decision maker moves.
  • Success will require the ability to find ways to make direct contact with C-level executives across multiple industries, seeking out potential opportunities for the Head of Partnership Development EMEA to meet and/or host them at an event.
  • Targeting specific verticals, they will need to become category experts, understanding trends within these industries and develop an ability for early identification of which McLaren Racing entity/entities (F1, FE, XE, IndyCar, esports, Licensing) would be best suited.
  • Build knowledge on the McLaren Advisory Team, their network, backgrounds and industry expertise
  • Track all outreach accurately in a database, implementing a proactive follow up process
  • Communicate with the Americas Partnership Development team when a coordinated. approach for a target may be necessary.
  • Prepare briefs on the companies and individuals for all meetings secured.
  • Report on a weekly basis while contributing to the wider team reporting protocol.

  • A rounded knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce.
